Ένα άλλο μάθημα χαράς με αφορμή τα Χριστούγεννα.....

Που βρίσκεται η αληθινή χαρά και η αληθινή ευτυχία; Πάλι, συχνά, το σχολείο και η κοινωνία μάς βάζουν να τις ψάχνουμε σε λάθος μέρη. Σύμφωνα με την ανάρτηση από το aninspiredapproach.com που ακολουθεί στα αγγλικά, η χαρά και η ευτυχία πηγάζουν από μέσα μας, όταν παύουμε να συγκρίνουμε τον εαυτό μας με τους άλλους. Γιατί ο κόσμος στις μέρες μας είναι γεμάτος ανικανοποίητους σκυθρωπούς ανθρώπους;

“When you are content to be simply yourself and don’t compare or compete, everybody will respect you.” ~ Lao Tzu

Celebrate the moments
Celebrate the moments
Too often we find ourselves measuring our lives in comparison to either an image of what we see as successful or to that of others we know. Happiness, joy, peace, love and true success are not measured by anything or compared to anyone. They are felt within from within and moments captured in the heart. They light up the darkest of nights and remind us no matter where we are a life worth living isn’t something we purchase rather something we experience.
The world is filled with rich lonely unhappy people. The media and tabloids every year reveal someone we thought had everything who has taken their own life. Those of us that search for meaning and purpose are looking in the wrong places. It is within us, and most often is found when we are alone and still long enough to realize life if a wonderful gift we are meant so share, experience and enjoy.
This holiday season take time to notice the magic of the season. Forget about what isn’t right and focus on what is priceless, the love of family, the laughter of friends and the moments which connect us all together. AIA
